A Day in the Life of Leo
I live in New York City in Manhattan. I go to school at P.S.9, just two blocks
away from Broadway. On Broadway, there
are a lot of cool plays and stores on, but most of them are farther downtown
than my school. For example, some of
the plays are Aida, The Lion King, Music
Man, and a whole lot others. Also
downtown there is south street seaport, a seaport (duh!), but there are shops
and restaurants along it. There are
also people performing magic and other stuff on the sidewalk. Also close to my school is the Museum of Natural History. It has cool exhibits on everything from
dinosaurs to other interesting animals like whales and dolphins, bears and
others.
I live one block away from Riverside Park,
and two blocks away from Fairway (the biggest and best food market in New
York). I also live two blocks away from
Frozen Ropes a baseball center with batting cages, pitching machines, the
works, and also two blocks away from Citerella (another food place).
When I wake up
in the morning, I usually listen to the Yankee
and Mets
highlights on the radio. Then I put on
my clothes (usually old navy) and go to
breakfast. There is usually an assortment of Kellogg’s
cereal and other things like bagels from H&H. Then if I have time, I play Triple Play 2001 on my Compaq computer, the best there is, in my
opinion besides Dell.
